Computer Literacy Any Way You Say It

English accounts for about half of what's on the web, according to some obscure source I read recently. Here are a couple of examples of computer learning sites that provide instruction in English and other languages. If you are a beginner, you'll probably find that Jan's Illustrated Computer Literacy 101 will be of great help. It's available in three languages, English, Spanish, and French. Although it dates back to 1997 when Windows 3.1 was the latest and greatest, it was revised in 2000 to cover Windows 98 as well. The illustrations load quickly, even though there are loads of them.

Another great resource is LearnTheNet, which is available in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian. There are free tutorials on the left side of this site, and some online courses that are cheap (considering they have an instructor). But if it's languages you want, and are only interested in the computer as an aid to learning, then I Love Languages is a good place to go. You'll see why, for example, if you click on the Languages tab and look for Spanish.
