Here is a short list of useful sites that may or may not get discussed in more detail as life goes on.  They relate to Windows in various versions, and they are intended to provide you with a starting point for further investigation. They are generally at a more advanced level than the rest of this site, but not necessarily. We can always use a good review :)

Paul Thurott's SuperSite for Windows winsupersite.com⁄ Paul keeps track of the future of Windows: this is where you'll find the best explanations of what's coming down the pike.
Windows Annoyances www.annoyances.org⁄ A very knowledgeable author has developed this site over a number of years. It is full of version-specific workarounds for those nasty things that don't work the way you need them to. Has a forum, too.  But occasionally, you won't get in because of too much traffic (no. of visitors appears to be limited). Still...
